How to Use the Lookah Octopus Electric Dab Rig?
The Lookah Octopus is simple and easy to use, here is a guide:
Step 1: Fill the bubbler with water
Remove the glass bubbler from base and fill it about one-third full with water, up to just a smidge over the airholes.
Do not add too much water to avoid leakage, which causes damage to the equipment.
Step 2: Load the wax concentrates
Exposing the coil, Use the integrated dab tool to load a tiny amount of wax concentrates onto the bottom center of the quartz buctket coil.
Step 3: Reattach the Bubbler
Replace the bubbler onto the base securely.
Step 4: Turn on the Device
Press the power button 5 times within 2 seconds to turn on the Lookah Octopus device. The LED indicator light will flash white 3 times.
Once turned on, the Lookah Octopus will automatically enter a 15s pre-heat time. Just wait patiently.
After the automatic preheating is finished, the device will vibrates twice as a reminder, and the light will turned off.
Step 5: Select Voltage
Double-click the power button to switch between the three temp settings. The LED light color will indicate your choice:
Mode 1: Green – 9W (464°F)– Low Mode 2: Blue – 11W (518°F) – Medium Mode 3: White – 13W (572°F)– High
Step 6: Inhale and Enjoy
Manual or on-demand Mode: Manual heating mode requires long pressing the power button to start working.
Just press the button and inhale. When you're finished, release the button, and you're done.
The longest working time of the Lookah Octopus electric dab rig is in the 25s; after that, it will stop working.
Automatic or Session Mode: Press the button 3 times within 2s to enter the Auto mode. At this time, the device automatically heats according to the currently set voltage mode.
The Lookah Octopus will automatically preheat for 15s after entering the Auto mode. Then it will run for 25s before stop output. In automatic mode, the indicator light will keep flashing.
For auto-mode, simply inhale through the mouthpiece. You don't need to press and hold the button.
You can press the button once to exit the auto mode. If you want to restart auto mode, press the button 3 times within 2s.
Step 7: Turn off the Device
After your session, Press the power button five times quickly to turn off the device.
If you forget to turn it off, the device will automatically shut down after 60 minutes.
Note: Please do not leave water in the bubbler when not in use, and charge the device before use.
How to Clean the Lookah Octopus Electric Dab Rig?
Keeping your Lookah Octopus clean and tidy is important for getting consistent performance and good flavors. Otherwise, Gunked-up coils will quickly start suffering in flavor and vapor production.
For minor resin buildups on quartz bucket coil, you’ll be able to heat your chamber a bit to help loosen any grime, and then Clean it using a cotton swab lightly moistened with isopropyl alcohol.
For heavier buildups on your bucket coil, you’ll want to unscrew it from your device and then let it soak for 30 minutes in a small glass of isopropyl alcohol.
Then gently scrubbed it with a brush, Give a water rinse off. After that, the coil will looks as good as new.
For the plastic water bubbler and silicone parts, You can clean them with a brush, along with mild soapy water. Avoid using isopropyl alcohol as it will corrode them.
Let all the parts air dry completely before reassembling and using the device.
