I have only owned a few bongs, but this one is by far the heaviest and strudiest that I've had at this size. I have use this for about two weeks and I really like the feeling of holding it.

I daily use a 10" bong with an ice catcher, it has been a fine simple bong. My buddy uses a 16" with an ice catcher and it is an exquisite pipe. That being said this thing is the smoothest I've ever used and no ice is required, shipping was super fast and it was packaged very well. If you're having second thoughts do yourself a favor and don't, this thing is incredible.
